Today, I want to tell you why we're offering Painting Rocks and Sunlight as a standalone masterclass and how you'll benefit greatly from it.
I know you'll find this type of art instruction to be life- and art-changing.
The concept isn't new and I certainly can't take credit for the idea … I've always wanted to offer something like this and I believe NOW is the right time to launch it on a big scale.
What has me so excited about our future as artists?
I'll tell you — but first, a little context…
The goal for many art workshops is to complete one entire painting (or more) in order to help artists become more well-rounded in their skills.
This method of learning is excellent and I always support artists attending a variety of workshops.
While attending a live, in-person workshop, have you ever wanted to stop and focus extra time and attention on a specific element that was giving you trouble … Something you weren't completely confident about?
Though not really possible in an in-person group workshop, there is a way for you to zero in so you can improve, event master, certain subjects, topics, techniques, etc.
Welcome to Topic-Based Online Art Instruction
For the past few years, we've offered a wide range of online art training events. Our audience (that includes you) find them very helpful and inspiring.
We're bringing that format to our Topic-Based Sessions. Here's a quick look at what you'll experience:

- Shorter sessions taught by highly-accomplished artists who have truly mastered certain topics, subjects, methods, and techniques

Our first session is Painting Rocks and Sunlight with Matt Ryder. It's our prediction that everyone who attends will find this session, focused on a couple of key subjects, very helpful in improving the quality of your work.
Plus, Matt will be completing an entire start-to-finish painting so you can observe him putting his instruction into action. You'll be inspired to do the same.
If all goes well, and we expect it will, we'll be offering many more topic-based classes so you can focus on specific areas where you need the most help.
