Today we break the silence on this issue, bringing testimonies from artists who say they have experienced unwelcome propositions, verbal abuse, sexual assault, and harassment during open studio events and one-on-one studio visits. In happier news, unionized adjunct professors at the New School reached an agreement with administration after three weeks of striking. As protests and public pressure crescendoed, the Manhattan school accepted all of the union's core demands. You see? Strikes work.
