The Aesthetica Art Prize is a platform for the world's best artists. The £10,000 award celebrates contemporary art in all its forms, offering opportunities for publication and exhibition at a major public gallery. We celebrate creativity in all its forms – Painting and Drawing; Video, Installation and Performance; Photography, Digital Art & Installation; Artists’ Film and more. |

This award is a celebration of innovative new writing from across the globe. Each year, the competition invites submissions of poetry and short fiction that redefine the parameters of form, concept and technique. We select two winners – one for poetry and one for fiction – who are each awarded £2,500 prize money as well as publication within the Aesthetica Creative Writing Anthology.

The BAFTA-Qualifying Aesthetica Film Festival is back. The 2023 edition is looking for bold stories that are told differently and inspire conversations. Filmmakers can submit to 12 short film genres – including Animation, Comedy, Drama and Documentary – as well as VR & 360 films and narrative and documentary features. Selected films will screen in competition in York, UK. |
